Updates
I have been editing a couple of my old blog entries, so don't be surpised if you see that something has changed.
I had some dream which nobody probably wants to hear about
Last night I dreamt that everyone was ugly. No kidding, it was like their faces were distorted somehow. It was really kind of weird and creepy.
Anyhow, in the dream I was at my school. The school day had just ended for me and I had some time to go out to town. Then, when I was walking along the road I suddenly stopped, not knowing where I wanted to go. While I was standing there, some fat gothic girl came up to me and asked me where to find the bus station. I told her and moved along.
After walking around pointlessly I came up to a hot dog stall. The woman there looked tired and bored of her job. When I came to talk to her, she didn't even ask me if I wanted a hot dog, she just told me I looked like shit. I told her that she looked pretty shitty herself and went on and on about stuff I usually wouldn't say out loud. But she didn't seem at all upset by that. Instead she told me all about her second job as a janitor and about how everything sucks, pretty much.
When I was walking back to my school, I saw a lot of familiar people along the way. Everyone seemed to be some person I haven't seen in years. Most of them were from my old school. When I saw the first one of them I thought they had changed and become... uglier. Then the same thing happened with everyone else I saw. They'd just become ugly. I thought it was weird that everyone was getting older and uglier so quickly. But then I saw a jagged mouth that looked like it had been messed with on Photoshop and just thought I was going insane...

A 3D face
I took some time with this one. Finally decided to try out those smoothing tools on Blender. I'd say it worked out pretty well! There were some slight nuances but you can barely see them in the render, so it's okay. Now I guess I just need to find out how to do the renders properly. And get rid of this damn blue background.

A groundhog... sketch!
Some more 3D
So, I decided to try making a head in that 3D program. It's not too bad but I should try making a new one when I have the time. This one was shaped out of a cylinder, so I'm thinking I could try a different approach the next time.
Trying out these 3D things has given me a couple of ideas that could be applied to drawing as well. I'd love to give them a try, but the weekend is almost over and I think I should be back to real life again... I'll do my homework first and then I'll see if I've got time for anything else today. I'm thinking of writing some little story and making a drawing out of it... Mmmh... I'll have to give it some more thought later.

Pots! In 3D!
So, I finally decided to try out 3D modelling today. I made three pots using while trying out a few different methods. The first one is actually unfinished, because the 3D program crashed while I was making it, but I decided to show that, too, anyway. I couldn't be bothered to try out any cool rendering stuff yet, so they're a bit grey and dull. The edges are a bit rough because I had to edit out the awful blue background.
